Nagovisi is in west-central Bougainville. Above the pushpin you can see the Jaba-Pangala river system, completely destroyed by the enormous open-pit copper mine at Panguna, in the mountains. The river system is the approximate northern boundary of Nagovisi. To the west and southwest, Nagovisi doesn't extend to the coast; to the east and northeast, it extends to the central mountain range. Google Earth imagery.
